Ford’s Theatre celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Broadway opening for Thornton Wilder’s Our Town. The Thornton Wilder Society’s Thornton Wilder Prize will be awarded on stage at the event. Tickets are free but required. Please note: This event does NOT include a performance of the play Our Town.

Author Kay Winters will read from her children’s book Abe Lincoln: The Boy Who loved Books. She will sign copies of her book after the reading.

June 26, 2012: Author Talk with Jason Emerson
Author Jason Emerson will discuss Robert Lincoln: First son, presidential confidant and Civil War soldier. He will also sign copies of his book Giant in the Shadows: The Life of Robert T. Lincoln.
